Reu Reu was the most spectacular, beautiful, regal, majestic and yet, goofy and fun dog I ever had to pleasure of sharing my life with. He drew crowds wherever he went. Whether he was body surfing at the beach or chasing balls, he enjoyed life to the fullest and never met a stranger. I bet you have similar stories of your pets. Without a doubt Reu was my true soulmate and I will forever be grateful for the time I had with him. He is the very one that started it all. RIP Reuben Bernard 2/28/2005-2/16/2015.
I have over 35 years experience grooming. It all began while working at a poodle salon as a bather during college. Even though that experience didn't lead me down an immediate path to a career in grooming; I never stopped. Grooming for various rescues has remained a passion while still working as an Occupational Safety and Health Specialist. I have a BS in Occupational Safety and Health, AAS in Emergency Management and I'm currently working on a MBA. Helping pet business owners by providing OSH and EM consultations is one of the values I offer our community. I hold the highly esteemed A.K.C. Safe Groomer Certification, PetTech Pet CPR with First Aid and many other grooming related certifications.

Attending several continuing education classes a year is just one of many ways we stay abreast of current pet health and safety concerns within the industry. Groom Expo in Hershey, PA and the Atlanta Pet Fair & Conference are two we almost never miss.
In addition we take several Continuing Education classes through various sources to keep informed of new products, treatments and technologies. It is the mission of Reu's Corner, LLC to provide the best service possible.
Community Service has and always will be a huge part our lives. John and Donna are active members of the Tampa Bay Kennel Club, and the Upper Suncoast Dog Training Club. Donna volunteers one day a week at the Hernando County Animal Services. Reu's Corner, LLC host monthly fundraising events for local rescues. You can find out more about these events on our Events page. It is the value of Reu's Corner, LLC to give back to the very community that supports us.
Are you aware that compassion can help heal us from the inside out, especially so with compassion for animals. Research has shown that compassion reduces inflammation within our bodies on a cellular level; animals can heal matters of the heart as well. Compassion and kindness not only feels good, it inspires us to be more, to be better people, to be a better world. It is the vision of Reu's Corner, LLC to live in a world full of kindness and compassion.
